Hi y'all

Can anyone tell me what a new student pasing the UFe should expect for a raise? I've read the salary survey but it's not clear about what non-CA make.

anyone?

No need to be insulting. As you can see I spelled it correctly in the title, but had a typo in the message.

Hi Yitzak

The amount of raise a successful UFE grad will receive greatly depends on his/her skills with respect to the work performed at his/her office. As a result of the "salary survey" produced in 2007 many prospective and new CA's expected a specific compensation regardless of previous work experience or specific skills. As the job market tightens and the economy contracts demand for CAs will not necessarily decrease significantly, however I believe that firms will expect new CA's to "produce" in order to be compensated appropriately.

What I'm really saying is that the fact that you passed the UFE shouldn't necessarily afford you the right to a raise, but rather it will be your refined technical competence that will allow you to ask for an increase in compensation.

Hope that helps.

Regards

Phil
